iPhoto Batch Enhancer 3

iPhoto Batch Enhancer 3 (Beta 6)

iPhoto Batch Enhancer is designed to make your life with iPhoto even more comfortable. It helps you apply the built in iPhoto effects (enhance, black-white, sepia and more) with a few mouse clicks to a batch of photos. Additionally you can perform changes to the Adjust palette as well as scale or rotate your photos.

What's new in iPhoto Batch Enhancer 3?
  • Compatible with iPhoto 4 up to iPhoto 7 (iLife '08) on any Mac running Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" or 10.5 "Leopard".
  • Create and apply new Snapshots of the adjust palette while editing photos in iPhoto's full screen mode.
  • New basic editing functions: scale, rotate and flip.
  • Up to four actions can be applied to a photo in one go.
  • New user interface - easier to use yet more powerful!

Changelog Beta 6
  • Improved the detection of RAW image formats.
  • Fixed an error with RAW images where saturation and tint were applied regardless of the checkboxes in the edit pane (Thanks to Jeff for finding the error).
  • Improved update version comparison.

Changelog Beta 5
  • Added support for updates and version checking via the Sparkle framework. Unfortunately this means that Mac OS X 10.3 Panther isn't supported any longer.
  • Fixed a problem for users with french format settings.

Changelog Beta 4/4a
  • The application is now more robust when iPhoto won't open the adjust palette.

Changelog Beta 3
  • Added compatibility with thumbnails in iPhoto's edit window being disabled.
  • The weekly version check now transmits anonymous profile data about the user's computer. This can be disabled in preferences.
  • Dialogs now display icons as intended.
  • Logging is disabled by default. When an error occurs it gets reenabled for a day.
  • Sending an error report on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard now also includes logging details.
  • Scripts should work more reliable now. If iPhoto doesn't invoke external editing correctly it is automatically being restarted.
  • Windows (like the Adjust paltte) are only being moved when it's really necessary

Changelog Beta 2
  • Added compatability with Mac OS X 10.3.9 "Panther".
  • Fixed a bug where applying sharpness in iPhoto 7 resulted in values way too low (Thank you M. Schweiger for pointing it out!).
  • Fixed a bug where the main window's snapshot list wouldn't be updated after importing a snapshot.
  • Fixed a bug where closing a sheet via Command-W would make the application unresponsive.
